Harcombe House, nestled in the heart of Devon, is a Grade II listed property with fascinating history. Constructed in 2 for Edward Chaning Wills, Bart, and his wife, it was designed by architect L.A. Lucas and built by A. Woodman of Exeter. The house showcases a blend Jacobean and Vernacular Revival architectural styles, featuring distinctive elements such as coped gables, mullioned windows, and Tudor arched doorway. While it seen modifications over the years, including its transformation into a service convalescent home, its striking 8-bay front and single-storey Ham Hill porch prominent. Beyond its historical significance, Harcombe House serves as a residential centre with impressive amenities, including a well-equipped, sports hall, indoor swimming pool, and hydrotherapy pool. Set on 300 acres of woodland near the charming village of Chudleigh and just ten miles from Exeter, the centre is fully accessible and offers a variety of activities for guests, including supervised gym sessions and leisure pool access.

Within the grand entrance of the main building sits the Charles Suite, the perfect venue for your wedding, party, or meeting. With the capacity to host up to 50 guests for a sit-down meal and 80 for an evening party, we offer a separate bar area as well as a full kitchen space for caterers.
