Harcombe House provides a picturesque setting for your special day. Nestled in serene surroundings, we offer a blend of history and modern amenities to create the perfect event experience for you and your guests.
Harcombe House, nestled in the heart of Devon, is a Grade II listed property offering beautiful grounds, event spaces and accommodation for your event. Constructed in 1912 for Edward Chaning Wills, Bart, and his wife, it was designed by architect L.A. Lucas and built by A. Woodman of Exeter. While it has seen modifications over the years, it’s best known as a centre of the Fire Fighters Charity, offering rehabilitation, recovery, and wellbeing services for beneficiaries. The house has 11 bedrooms a well equipped sports hall, indoor swimming pool, and hydrotherapy pool. Set on 300 acres of woodland near the charming village of Chudleigh and just ten miles from Exeter, the centre is fully accessible and offers a variety of activities for guests, including fishing lakes, tennis courts, games room and children's play area as well as walks and leisure pool access. Additional accommodation is available in the 26 fully self contained bungalows each sleeping 6.
With our partner West Country Wedding Planner we can offer bespoke party and wedding packages tailored to each couples individual day. We can cater for both smaller weddings and parties in our dining area for up to 40 guests, for events of up to 150 guests our lawn space is the perfect setting for a marquee or outside dining.
Have your day your way, whether that's a sit down meal in the dining room, a buffet, or an outside BBQ, hog roast or food van, we can bring your vision to life.
